From the large experience of ConsulPay founders, with more than 20 year of recognised work, we highlight the following achievements:
ü Implementation and development of national interbank electronic payments processor and clearing house in Portugal, which launched innovative products not tried anywhere in the world before. The company, manages electronic payments services and the national ATM/POS networks. ü Implementation, development and management of a card processing and payments operator in Egypt. ü Implementation, development and management of Visa acquiring processor in Nigeria where innovative debit card issuance programmes and other Visa products and services were launched. ü Consulting services for Central Banks in Africa in the areas of payment systems oversight and banking operations. ü Definition and implementation of electronic cheque clearing, interbank credit transfer and direct debits systems, and a real-time gross settlement system in Portugal (in cooperation with the central bank). ü Design, development, implementation and management of cash bill payments service operator in Portugal. ü Design, implementation and management of a corporate telecommunications services operator in Portugal to support the national ATM/POS networks and many other corporate clients namely in the bank/finance industry. ü Consultancy for the creation of the national electronic payments operator in two African countries. This included being a member of the management committee and helping with the ATM/POS implementation in one of those payment processors. |
